Top Responsibilities: Senior Accountant
- Prepare and analyze journal entries; maintain general ledger accuracy and data integrity.
- Complete timely balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements using technologies like RPA.
- Collaborate with Digital/IT FP&A teams on accounting for software and cloud assets.
- Maintain fixed asset rollforwards; monitor CIP projects and coordinate asset placements/disposals.
- Manage insurance program accounting, including journal entries, reporting, and consultant communication.
- Support pension accounting and reporting in coordination with actuaries.
- Prepare quarterly reports, flux analyses, tax inputs, and consolidation schedules.
- Participate in cross-functional projects across Corporate and Operating Companies.
- Assist AP team with GL coding and monthly invoice accruals.
- Communicate with departments (IT, Legal, HR, FP&A, Tax) for entries, issue resolution, and best practices.
- Ensure internal controls are effective and support audit activities.
- Join professional/social committees and continuously seek process enhancements.
Experience Preferred: Senior Accountant
- Bachelors in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience
- Manufacturing industry is a plus
- Experience in Oracle, OneStream, and account reconciliation software a plus
